After assembling a syndicate called Lady Shelia Stable Two with a $100,000 buy-in last April, Rice and Rosenblum partnered to start Triumphant Trio, a syndicate with a much higher buy-in rate of $500,000. They recently made headlines by purchasing an $840,000 colt by Pioneerof The Nile, sire of American Pharoah, at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic auction.

All-female partnerships are starting to appear more frequently across the country, the most famous of which is StarLadies, an offshoot of Starlight Stable.
